Trade Marks Attorney/Lawyer
Halfords IP (HIP) are looking for a qualified Trade Marks Attorney/Lawyer with 5-8+ years’ experience to fill a part time position.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in developing their career and be seeking to progress into a full-time position over the next 1-2 years. However, candidates wishing to stay part time in the long term will also be considered.
For strong performers, the opportunity presents a career path to partnership of the firm.
The position is based at our new offices in the Sydney CBD and may include hybrid attendance.
Qualifications/ Attributes of the Ideal Candidate
5-8+ years’ experience in varied aspects of Trade Mark practice including, for example, searching, lodgement, prosecution, oppositions, enforcement, etc.
Technical aptitude and interest to work with clients in science/engineering disciplines, medical fields and FMCG
Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
Strong organisational skills, with ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
Strong work ethic and client service focus
Keen to initiate and participate in business development activities to grow our Trade Mark practice
Ambitious to become a partner of the firm
Must have current qualifications to practice before the Trade Marks Office and full entitlement to work in Australia
